TRANSFER FROM COCHIN AIRPORT TO HOTEL AT MUNNAR (135 KM 5 H) Upon arrival our executive will meet you at the Cochin airport followed by transfer to hotel at Munnar. Check into the hotel on arrival and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Munnar) [Transport: Vehicle only for arrival transfer] DAY 02: MUNNAR / SIGHTSEEING After breakfast, start sightseeing of Munnar. Including: Rajamalai, Matuppetty, Kundala Dam. Evening free to explores the city. (Overnight at Munnar) DAY 03: MUNNAR - THEKKADY (160 KM 5 H) After breakfast, drive to Thekkady. On arrival check into the hotel and proceed to visit spice plantation. The guide explains & clarifies your doubts on this tour and later you can enjoy the elephant ride. Return back to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Thekkady) DAY 04: THEKKADY ALLEPPEY (140 KM - 5 H) After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive towards Alleppey the land of Backwaters. On arrival at Alleppey embark into the private House boat that is waiting to take you on a tour through the backwaters, a splendid area full of canals, lakes and coves. You can sunbathe on the deck or observe the landscape from the protection of the cabin. The populations whole life takes place here on the water. The people sail, fish, swim and bathe here. They do their washing and their washing up. They are so adapted to the water that you can see people talking for an hour, while they are up to their necks in water. Peddlers take care of the supplies and the public transport goes on the water. Countless water birds wait for their chance to catch a fish. The trip goes through a wonderful area full of palm trees, rice fields and floating water plants that surround the boat like emerald Green Island. (Overnight on Houseboat) DAY 05: ALLEPPEY Day free for leisure activities. (Overnight at Alleppey) [No Transport] DAY 06: ALLEPPEY COCHIN (DEPARTURE TRANSFER) (80 Km 2 H) Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Cochin airport for onward journey.
