All other than those listed in above inclusions Day 01 Arrive Delhi Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour of Old Delhi An ancient walled city. Here you will visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India & Drive past Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire: Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi. Welcome Dinner. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 02 Delhi / Jaipur (258 Kms / 6.5 Hrs approx) After breakfast proceed for city tour of New Delhi Delhi includes visits to the Qutab Minar 72 meters high and one of the most perfect towers in the Persian world. The Iron Pillar which has survived the vagaries of weather for over 1500 years. Lotus Temple - known as 'Bahai House of Worship', this 20th century wonder made of marble in the form of a white half-opened lotus flower. (Lotus Temple is closed on Monday). Later depart for Jaipur. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening enjoy demonstration of Block Printing on Carpet Weaving. Overnight in your hotel. Day 03 In Jaipur Following breakfast in your hotel, depart on a Full day sightseeing tour of Amber Fort with Elephant Ride (Elephant subject to availability). Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. On the way to Pink City, you enjoy demonstration of Gem Stone Cutting & Polishing. Afternoon tour of Jaipur- the capital of Rajasthan. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory. Then drive past Hawa Mahal (Palace Of Winds) & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Special Rajasthani Dinner. Overnight stay at hotel. . Day 04 Jaipur/Agra (232 Kms / 6 hrs approx) After breakfast, depart for Agra visiting the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Stop for lunch (own expense) at Bharatpur before continuing to Agra. Enjoy Tonga ride. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 05 Agra Today depart to see the majestic Taj Mahal, regarded as one of the Wonders of the World. For people the world over - the Taj Mahal, mausoleum of the Mughal Empress Mumtaz Mahal, is synonymous with India. (Taj Mahal Closed on Fridays). Afternoon city tour visiting the massive Agra Fort which has been the seat of Mughal rulers for several years. The fort has palaces with pavilions, gardens, mosques, baths etc. Agra is known for its superb inlay work on marble and soapstone by craftsmen who are descendants of those who worked at Taj Mahal. After visiting Taj Mahal enjoy Demonstration of Inlay on Marble. Enjoy India Motion Show. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 06 Agra / Unchagaon (150 Kms / 3 hrs approx) After breakfast depart for Unchagaon to the enchanting "Fort Unchagaon". On arrival take a Village Walk or Horse Ride along the Ganges River nearby. Dinner and evening Folk Song. Overnight in the elegant Fort Heritage Hotel, a distillery of history. Overnight stay at Fort. Day 07 Unchagaon / Rishikesh Early morning tea along the Ganges. After breakfast, river trip to see the rare Gangetic dolphins if one is so lucky. Later proceed for Rishikesh. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Rishikesh. Day 08 Rishikesh / Haridwar / Rishikesh (30 Kms / 0.5 hrs approx) Morning excursion to Haridwar - Haridwar located in the foothills of the Himalayas represents the point where the Ganga reaches the plains. Haridwar is an ancient pilgrimage site, held in reverence for centuries. The Chinese pilgrim Hyuen Tsang who visited India in the first millennium CE, describes Haridwar as Mayura, on the eastern banks of the Ganges. Several temples and ashrams dot this town and a visit to Haridwar is like stepping into a totally different world. Return to Rishikesh. Overnight stay at hotel in Rishikesh. Day 09 Rishikesh / Haridwar / Delhi (200 Kms / 5 hrs approx) Depart Delhi Morning breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour of Rishikesh is located in the foothills of the Himalayas and surrounded by the scenic beauty of the hills on three sides with the Ganges River flowing through it. Rishikesh, the birth place of yoga is now the Hatha Yoga capital of the world and a totally vegetarian town. Visit the Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Temples and Ashrams. In time transfer to Haridwar railway station to board train for Delhi. On arrival transfer directly to the international airport to board flight for your onward destination.
