All other than those listed in above inclusions Day 01: Arrival Transfer from Airport to Hotel Upon arrival our executive will meet you in the Bangalore airport, followed by transfer to the hotel. Check into the hotel on arrival and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Bangalore) [Transport: Vehicle only for arrival transfer] Day 02: Bangalore – Mysore (140 km – 3 h) Check out from the hotel after breakfast and proceed for sightseeing of Bangalore visiting - the Bull Temple - with a magnificent stone statue of the sacred bull Nandi (the biggest in South India) and majestic Vidhana Saudha, the state legislature house. Later we drive to Mysore. On arrival check in the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Mysore) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal] Day 03: Mysore Sightseeing After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Mysore visiting - Maharaja's Palace built in Indo-Saracenic style with domes, turrets, arches and colonnades. The interior of the palace is a kaleidoscope of stained glass, mirrors and gaudy colours. The palace is especially magnificent on Sunday night and during festivals. In the evening we drive to Chamundi Hill to visit the Sri Chamundeswari Temple perched atop, of the hill, dominated by a towering seven-storey gopuram overlooking Mysore. Down the hill you can see the famous 5 m-high Nandi (Shiva's bull vehicle) carved out of solid rock, said to be the largest in India. (Overnight at Mysore) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal] Day 04: Mysore - Hassan (215 km – 4.5 h) Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Hassan for sightseeing of Belur where you can see the Channekeshava Temple, the best template for Hoyasala architecture. The particularities of this temple are the angled bracket figures depicting women in ritual dancing poses. (The best time to visit 9am, 3pm, and 7:30pm ceremony). After we drive to Halebid - the ancient capital of the Hoysalas, which is famous for its Hoysaleswara Temple. This temple represents one of the most artistically exuberant periods of Hindu cultural development. The Hoyasala temples in Belur and Halebid symbolize the confluence of Dravidian, Chalukyan and Chola art at the same time. Check into the hotel on arrival and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Hassan) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal] Day 05: Hassan - Hospet (300 km – 6 h) Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to Hospet. On arrival check in the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Hospet) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal] Day 06: Hampi Sightseeing After breakfast proceed for Hampi sightseeing of visiting - the ruins of the 14th century of the ancient city of Hampi. The splendid remains of palaces and gateways of the broken city tell a tale of men infinite talent and power of creativity together with his capacity for senseless destruction. We visit the Vittala Temple from the 16th century, a Word Heritage Site distinctive by the fantastic sculptural work on its walls. Further, we stroll along Hampi bazaar, which leads to the Royal Center. At Royal Center you get a glimpse of the Lotus Mahal and Elephant Stables, a combination of Hindu and Islamic styles. We complete the day of sightseeing with a visit of an archaeological museum marveling at the collection of sculptures from local ruins, Neolithic tools, 16th-century weaponry and large floor model of the Vijayanagar ruins. (Overnight at Hospet) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal] Day 07: Hospet - Badami (190 km – 4 h) Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive towards Badami. On arrival check in the hotel and proceed for the sightseeing of Badami visiting - the earliest monument of Badami in the Southern Fort area, which consist of a group of 16 caves. Return back to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. (Overnight at Badami) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal] Day 08: Excursion to Aihole and Pattadakal After breakfast proceed for the day excursion to Aihole - a picturesque village on the banks of the Malapragha River. Here we visit a group of temples, dating from the Chalukyan periods. After, we marvel at the Jain Meguti Temple (634 AD) on top of a hill, from where you have a fantastic view of whole Aihole. Further visit the village Pattadakal, situated 20 km from Badami, which was used in particular for the royal coronation ceremonies. There are numerous temples with the remains of the earliest ones dating back to the 3rd -4th century. Here we see southern and northern styles monuments at the same time. Further, we catch a sight of the Rashtrakuta Jain Temple and two Mandapa hallways with twin carved elephants at the entrance. (Overnight at Badami) [Transport: Vehicle at disposal] Day 09: Badami – Goa (390 km - 8.5 h) Check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive towards Goa. Our services end till drop at Goa. [Transport: Vehicle only for departure transfer] Day 10 – Day 11 Goa / Day Leisure Morning after breakfast day free for leisure. (Overnight stay in Goa). DAY 12: Goa (DEPARTURE) After breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive towards Goa airport for boarding the flight to Mumbai.
